We have taken the decision to furlough some of our team to prolong the longevity and protect the business and staff.
Key Operation Managers are working from home and are keeping in contact with our key sites that are still working and operational.
Our Key Operation Managers are in contact with customers as the situation progresses and are in daily contact with the cleaning staff who are on the front line to offer guidance and reassurance.
Staff have been provided with travel to work dispensation notice to ensure that if they are stopped by the police that they have a valid reason for travel.
Further training and guidance have been communicated to all operating employees on how to manage the situation with measures including increasing the frequency of cleaning surfaces, especially high-frequency TOUCHPOINTS like door handles, lift buttons, handrails to name just a few. We have also published this on our website.
We are in a position if and when required to deploy a dedicated and reactive cleaning team to carry out full disinfection clean to your premises or after the government releases restrictions of social distancing within the workplace. This will ensure your office environment is safe for your returning employees. We have various approved equipment that will assist your business in tackling the virus. These include Fogging, Clorox 360 and Airgene Canister. Further details can be found here or by giving us a call on 01482 226570.
Our payroll staff are also working from home and are ensuring our staff are still getting paid correctly and on time which is vitally important at this time.
The Operations Admin support team are working from home and are keeping all the information up to date on what sites are closed and staff furlough. They are also recording what staff are self-isolating with symptoms or shielding.
Our Marketing and website team are working from home and are keeping social media and website information on the coronavirus up to date.
We have set up various groups in MS Teams, so we are in contact with each other to help and support where needed and we are using an SMS Software package to enable us to communicate on mass to all staff members should we need to converse quickly to all staff members.
All our direct dial numbers have been transferred to our mobile phones so we are able to answer all calls.
On a separate note, we have received a number of calls and emails from our employees sharing the frustrations (that we all feel) around cleaning staff not being named as key workers last week by the Government, as members of the British Cleaning Council we will raise the lobbying matter there, as they are best placed to take this forward.
