Schoolchildren at Chiltern Primary School in the Boulevard area of Hull were delighted to be asked to design the 2015 Christmas card for a local business.

ICS Cleaning, part of SPS Group Services, who have a long standing business relationship with the school, asked the headteacher if she would allow a set of her children to design their 2015 business Christmas card.

Delighted with the challenge, the Year 3 pupils set to work to create their colourful Christmas designs and this week the winner was shown her picture now adorning the Christmas Card.

Winner Nikola is pictured here with her Year 3 classmates who all received a chocolate selection box for entering. Nikola received a giant art case prize and the school received £200 to put towards arts and crafts equipment.

ICS Cleaning has worked with Chiltern Primary School since 2011 providing cleaning services and a full time caretaker.

Chris Turner, Managing Director, commented: “We were delighted with all the wonderful entries from the children. It was hard to choose, but Nikola’s lady snowman complete with crown and smiley face seemed perfect.

“Thank you to all of the children who took part. It is great to maintain strong links with all of our clients and we hope the prizes are a really positive give back to Chiltern Primary School.”

Nikola’s design is now adorning hundreds of SPS Group Christmas cards hot footing it into the post for the festive season.
